Due to extreme drought conditions and input from concerned homeowners, the Board has determined it would be in the best interest of all lot owners to refrain from lighting fireworks of any type in the subdivision. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

The concern generated from a quite large fire that started up behind our homes Sunday afternoon (WS of Vineyard Heights). Luckily the fire dept. was able to contain if before many of us lost our homes. I am now south of Cleburne at my parents home, where a very large forest fire has been burning up the countryside. Just as we had been advised to evacuate all the homes in the subdivision….a miracle rain dumped on us and has mostly put out the fires. There are some hot spots that are being watched, but a very close call. Thus the concern. From what I have seen on the Weather sites….Vineyard Heights has not received any of this rain.
